  • Complete Home Filtration (founder Suzanne Dodds, SBE Global Alum 2020) was a finalist in the Medium Business of the Year award category in the 2022 annual RISE awards by the Western Australian publication Business News. More here.

  • Melbourne-born startup, Forkful (founder Natalie Sarau, SBE Explore Graduate), has just been awarded funding through the City of Casey’s Circular Economy Living Lab Grant, enabling the innovative food waste platform to launch across the City of Casey’s 27 suburbs. More here.

  • SpeeDx founders Adjunt Professor Alison Todd and Dr Elisa Mokany (SBE Global Alum 2015) received the 2022 Prime Minister's Prize for Innovation. So far over 10 million patients worldwide have benefited from the diagnostic tests for cancer and infectious diseases. More here.

  • Big investor, Franklin Templeton, bumps up Canva’s valuation (founder Melanie Perkins, SBE Global Alum 2013) despite a tech sector meltdown. More here.

  • Owner of Diggers Rests’ Bulla Park organic mushroom farm, Georgia Beattie (SBE Global Alum 2013), was one of 20 Australian farmers to score a Farmers for Climate Action (FFCA) farming scholarship, valued at more than $3000. More here.

  • Coviu (founder Dr Sylvia Pfieffer, SBE Global Alum 2017) has been recognised in the Australian Financial Review's Fast 100 list after enormous growth during the COVID-19 pandemic which saw usage increase by over 6000 percent and revenue almost triple. The company has recently launched in the US following its success at home which has earned it the reputation of 'Australia's leading telehealth provider'. More here.
